Raven Lord add Larry Paterson on Drums!
Raven Lord has revealed that former Stuka Squadron (Blaze Bayley, Chokehold, Sinocence, Arbitrater) drummer Lawrence “Larry” Paterson joining the band. Larry lives in UK and comes with tour experience. Larry will be handling the drum duties and completes Raven Lord’s line up.
The band has been often compared to sound like Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest. Preliminary work on a new album has already begun, with various songs at different stages of completion. Two new songs ‘End of World’ and ‘Saints & Sinners’ can be heard at www.myspace.com/raven-lord or www.facebook.com/ravenlordmusic.
Raven Lord’s line up is Csaba Zvekan (Killing Machine, Sardonyx, Emergency) – Vocals, Stefan Lindholm (Vindictiv) – Lead Guitar, Julian Barrett (Tarja Turunen, Barilari, Lorihen) – Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Jamie Mallender (Tony Martin Band, ex-Black Sabbath) – Bass Guitar and Lawrence “Larry” Paterson (Blaze Bayley, Stuka Squadron, Sinocence) – Drums.
Silent Opera signs with Rock N Growl!
Italy’s symphonic visual metal band “Silent Opera” have signed a management deal with Germany’s “ROCK N GROWL“.
Silent Opera’s music is ageless symphonic metal, traversing the terrain between the rhapsodic romance of Mother Earth/Silent Force era Within Temptation, the dynamic drama of Nightwish and the theatrical thrill of Phantom of the Opera.
Voodoo Highway in studio for the second Album!
Italian hard rockers Voodoo Highway announce that they will be back in studio to record their second album at the end of this month. Recordings will start on February 27th 2012 at the renowned Zeta Factory Studios with producers Dualized and Eddy Cavazza for “dysFUNCTION Productions“, who has already worked with big names such as Anthony Phillips (Genesis), John Wetton (King Crimson, Uriah Heep, Asia), Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly), Danish producer Tue Madsen, Fear Factory, Jonny Santos (Spineshank), RipTide Music, Reality Entertainment and more…
Recordings are planned for the months of March and April 2012, mixing and mastering are provided for May 2012. After the fast sold-out of the debut album, released back in June 2011, the band is ready to make some cruel rocking again!! Get ready for a great time this year!
