Rough Angel to announce EP “Hear the Angels Rock” US Heavy Metal weights Rough Angel have announced to release their recordings from 1993. Recorded at Paramount Recording Studios, Hollywood, CA and engineered by Csaba Zvekan himself. These recordings originally intended for promoters and industry are now available for the public.
The “lava” like music is lush and heavy with aggressive vocals hovering over the music. In the “grunge” era it is a true classic and can be compared with bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin.
Raven Lord add Julian Barrett for guitars!
Raven Lord has revealed that former Tarja Turunen (Barilari, Lorihen) guitarist Julian Barrett will be joining the band. Julian lives in Buenos Aires , Argentina and comes with tour experience. Julian Barrett will be an equal member and will play side by side with Stefan Lindholm the lead and rhythm guitars .
Commenting on joining the band Julian said: ” When Csaba Zvekan contacted me on joining the band to add another guitar player I had to check out their songs. After listening to their material I knew right away that this was something I definitely wanted to be part of. I instantly fell for the melodic vocals and powerful riffs so my decision was easy to make. Really looking forward to work with these guys.”
Raven Lord announce line up + 2 demo songs!
Raven Lord is causing a lot of stir these days. Csaba Zvekan (Killing Machine, Sardonyx, Emergency) the founder of the band who recently signed with Rock N Growl. Csaba Zvekan played last Summer Wacken, Graspop, Foire aux Vins and was the support Act for AC/DC’s Black Ice Tour 2010 for the French leg.
The euro based metal band has found some core members to finalize their pre-production and securing a record deal. Raven Lord’s music has it’s roots and can be compared to classic bands like Black Sabbath, Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen and Judas Priest.
