Multinational Psychedelic Classic Rock band PERFECT BLUE SKY (SWE/AUS) are about to hit the road on May 16 for their first promotional tour in the United Kingdom. They’ll kick things off with radio visits at BBC Regionals and travel along the coastal roads for two solid weeks promoting the album and finish off with a record release show in London for their new album ‘The Eye Of Tilos‘, out 19 May via Right Recordings.
In addition, Soundcloud is currently streaming the first single and debut album track ’GIVE YOU MY LOVE‘, to be released on May 12, digital and as a music video. The song is an instant feel good tune described as “jumping onto your rock sofa”. A familiar neo classic! LISTEN HERE:

With the uninhibited vibes of 60/70’s Psychedelic Classic-Rock, Perfect Blue Sky (SWE/AUS) infuses the listener with imagination and spirit. Perfect Blue Sky is a highly anticipated collaboration and multinational band featuring one of the founding members of the Swedish metal act Netherbird Pontus (Pna) Andersson and female solo rock vocalist Jane Kitto from Australia.
Together they formed Perfect Blue Sky in 2014 drawing together a cadre of well-known guest-musicians who share a love of classic rock and features performances by Jerry Donahue (US Guitarist for the Proclaimers, Fairport Convention, Hellacasters) on bonus tracks ‘PORTRAIT OF LOVE’ as well as Big Brother Holding Company drummer Dave Getz on ‘HEAD IN THE CLOUDS’. Also newcomer to the line-up is Frenchman Frank Bessard on drums (Joe Satriani, Stanley Clarke) as well as keyboardist Danny Oakhill (AUS).
One could suggest a reminiscence of Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks reborn in these two primary writers. Both Andersson and Kitto’s sound also embodies Zeppelin, Wishbone Ash and Pink Floyd influences along with odd timing cues.
‘The Eye of Tilos’ represents a warm analogue recording reminiscent of the late 60’s or 70’s. Released also on vinyl along with CD and all digital formats. Perfect Blues Sky‘s visual stage production is created from warm earthy colours, flowers and rugs, backdrops and stage along with incense and materials and accompanying hand painted guitars etc. Nothing spared for the arty stuff. All lyrics are true reflections, tributes and observations written by both Andersson and Kitto. The album title evolved after a magical visit to the Greek Isle of Tilos where many of the lyrics are inspired.
