LORD VOLTURE Finish Recording New Album

Dutch heavy metal band LORD VOLTURE have finished the recordings for their yet untitled, third full-length studio album. The album was recorded at Final Focus Studio Tilburg and Split Second Sound Studio Amsterdam and engineerd by Yuma van Eekelen (Exivious, ex-Pestilence) and Bart Hennephof (Textures). All tracks are now going to Swamp Studio Raamsdonk to be mixed by Stephen van Haestregt (ex-Within Temptation, ex-My Favorite Scar). A release is expected for early 2014.

Swedish AOR outfit HOUSTON have posted two behind the scenes video's making of HOUSTON's forthcoming full length-album, "II", the video's "Day 1 - The Photos" and "Day 2 - Drums"can be viewed below:

The new single ‘I’m Coming Home‘ featuring Tommy Denander on guitars, Soufian Ma’Aoui for the bass and is due for digital release on August 5th, and precedes the release of the full-length album, II, on September 2nd.

NOW OR NEVER To Release Debut Album

International metal act NOW OR NEVER, featuring ex-Pretty Maids members Ricky Marx (guitars) and Kenn Jackson (bass), Nightmare vocalist Jo Amore and drummer Fabian Ranzoni (Sultan) will release their self-titled debut album, mid-November 2013 in Europe and Asia, and mid-January 2014 in North America via Mausoleum Records.

NOW OR NEVER recorded their eponymous debut at the Peek Studio in the South of France, co-produced by the band and Pat Liotard.

Jani Lane memorial show recap at The Rock Factory

Faithsedge front man Giancarlo Floridia took stage along with special guest shred master Xander Demos group and guest Jani Schuler on Sat Aug 10th at The Rock Factory in Akron, Ohio. Closing the evening was Cheap Thrill featuring Jeff Labar and Eric Brittingham of Cinderella , Brandon Gibbs (Gibbs Brothers) and Chenney Brannon (Collective Soul). Included are some pictures of the event and a clip of Giancarlo Floridia covering the Warrant classic Blind Faith.
